All Our Kids Inc. is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization showing Christ's love by providing basic daily needs, educational support and emotional encouragement to infants through teens residing in children's homes/orphanages in Tijuana, Mexico.
Our Story
In 2011, the Gortsema family sponsored a young woman from Michigan, Courtney Stuyvesant, through Youth with a Mission (YWAM) International. She traveled around the world and ended up serving as an English teacher at Siempre Para Los Niños in Tijuana, Mexico. It was Courtney who encouraged the Gortsema family to sponsor a child at Siempre and in 2012, they began sponsoring two girls, Lupe and Brenda (seen above). Numerous letters and Facebook messages later, they visited the girls. The first visit was in April of 2013, with their 18 year old daughter, Riley. She, like Courtney, fell in love with the children there and at that moment, knew that these children were now linked for the rest of their lives.
What they did not know at that time was how little time they had left with both Riley and Courtney. Riley passed away in 2013 just two months after their first trip to Siempre and Courtney in 2015. Both are now in Heaven worshiping God while their family and friends continue on Earth being the hands and feet of Christ.
The goal of All Our Kids is to continue on the legacy left by Riley and Courtney, who were true examples of how to share the love of Christ to others, especially those in need.
